Roxanne Fritz of SoCal Breathe Free Honored with Max Effort Award at National Breathe Free Conference

National Breathe Free hosted its annual Breathe Free Conference from April 24 to 28, giving out several awards, including the Max Effort Award to Roxanne Fritz of SoCal Breathe Free.

"Max effort is about going above and beyond in every task, and Roxanne Fritz, a dedicated Physician Assistant at SoCal Burbank, embodies this perfectly,” said Todd Tomlinson, National VP of Operations at National Breathe Free. “Her relentless dedication and tireless work ethic set a remarkable example for us all. Roxanne's commitment to giving her all every day truly defines what it means to give maximum effort."

Roxanne worked as a paramedic for 10 years in North Carolina while earning her Bachelor's in Biology from Western Carolina University and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University. She has six years of hospital-based surgical experience as a PA, specializing in general surgery and trauma, gastroenterology, liver transplants, and hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery.

Other awards given out during the multi-day event included: Sierra Wuertz of Scottsdale Sinus and Allergy, who won the Integrity Award; George Yateem of National Breathe Free, who won the Gratitude Award; Daniel Costello of Frederick Breathe Free, who won the Extreme Ownership Award; Shawn Byrnes of Marina Del Rey, who won the Rookie of the Year Award; Tia Tiebklang of Gulf Coast Breathe Free, who won the Heart and Hustle Award; Katie Scherer of Tampa Bay Breathe Free, who won the Above and Beyond Award; and Mark Kline of Frederick Breathe Free, who won the Lauren Campbell Award.
